AGES: 15-18 TIME: Session 1 (9:30-11:30 am) TUITION: $300 (Annually) * CONTENT: Youth driven individual & class projects, reading, and discussion --Centered around the principles of statesmanship, social studies, and liberty. In this class the students will focus on reading, writing and discussing, at length, about great statesmen and other leaders to identify principles of liberty. Youth, parents, and mentors will work together to create an atmosphere focused on liberty by applying principles or ideals such as georgics, liber, and public virtue. The structure of the class will include the following elements: - One on one mentoring environment. - Reading and discussing of books that are youth selected. - Working on individual projects of interest and sharing them with the class in a positive peer review environment. - Class project each semester chosen by the class and worked on as a group mostly outside of class.The teaching of leadership skills, study skills, and core values through document studies, short stories, transformational models, simulations, group activities, colloquium, and field trips.
